Learners Educational Society

The group is organizing International level Theatre festival titled ‘NATYAMANCHA NATYUTSAB’ from 2015 under the guidance of its founder president Sri Monidip Das Sumon. The various theatre teams from Tripura, West Bengal, Assam, Delhi, Hariyana & other parts of India, our neighbor country Bangladesh, Uruguay (South America) have participated in this Theatre Festival.

LEARNERS has participated in many theatre festivals in India (Assam, West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha, Arunachal Pradesh and Tripura) and Bangladesh. Some of the renowned plays of this organization are Sri William Shakespeare’s ‘HAMLET’, Omanisha, Karno, Ekti Totar Golpo, Rajsingha, JASOMOTEE, Bhalobasar Iskul, Haraner Boot Juta, Ghotothkach, Anuposthit etc. The society also.produced some short movies like ‘Rajkumar’, ‘Jan debo tobu joban noy’ etc.

In 2018, Sangeet Natak Akademi (New Delhi) have organized a 4(four) days national level theatre & folk festival titled Jagadish Chandra Mathur Paramparashil Natya Samaroh at Dharmanagar North Tripura in collaboration with Learners Educational Society where the theatre & folk teams from Delhi, Jharkhand, Bihar, Assam, Manipur have participated.

LES is thankful to the Ministry of Culture (Govt. of India), Sangeet Natak Akademi (New Delhi), NEZCC (Dimapur), Dept. of ICA (Govt. of Tripura) and other Government & non government organizations for their support to organize the various programmes and activities.

Learners Educational Society is a socio-cultural organization as it is visible by its name. The organization is determined to promote cultural aspects of India and organize theatre workshops, theatre & cultural shows, competitions, cultural festivals etc. We are also determined to perform social service for the welfare of society and cultural enhancement.
Our vision is very strong. We want to make society happy and prosperous by active interventions in the field of art & culture, and social welfare. We are very much dedicated to work for the development of Theatre, Folk culture of Tripura and various cultural activities, as well as bringing positive social change by focusing on kids’ education, women’s health and all.
Our main goal is to work for the development of Theatre, Folk culture of Tripura and various cultural activities. Learners Educational Society is trying to instill the feeling of selfless service in children and women helping some of the world’s most vulnerable people.
To develop Theatre, Folk culture of Tripura and various cultural activities, and organize food distribution programmes, hygiene awareness and sanitary pad distribution programmes among the rural women. To improve the socio-cultural activities and helping the most marginalized children and women, primarily in India.
